At the City Council committee meeting on Friday, Aug. 1, councilors recommended that the full City Council approve secondhand-dealer licenses for Ego ATM LLC, 677 Tiffany Boulevard, and for GameStop (license no. 3725376) on Tempe Boulevard.

The recommendation came after the police department reported no issues or concerns for either application, a standard part of the licensing review. The committee moved to recommend the Ego ATM license to the full council and approved the GameStop recommendation on a motion by Councilor Harvin, seconded by Councilor Brooks. Committee members voted by voice; the motions carried.

The recommendations will go to the full City Council for final action. No public commentary or additional concerns were recorded during the committee discussion.

The committee also approved minutes from the June 27, 2025 meeting earlier in the session and then moved on to other agenda items.
