Karen Watkins Jouf and Laquivia Garrett, Fort Campbell school liaisons, introduced themselves to the Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board and said they will begin visiting principals, school counselors and military life consultants in September.
Watkins Jouf said the liaisons look forward to serving military-connected students and families and thanked the board for the opportunity to be of service on behalf of the Fort Campbell Garrison.
The liaisons said their outreach will begin once school staff have settled into the new year so they can coordinate services and supports for military families.
