Starr County Commissioners Court granted preliminary approval Monday for two subdivisions in Precinct 3: Superstar Storage Unit No. 2, a one-lot commercial subdivision, and Coyote Den Subdivision Phase 5.
Philip Pena Jr., representing Real Delta Engineering, presented the Superstar Storage Unit No. 2 plan as a one-lot commercial subdivision located on U.S. Highway 83 east of the railroad tracks. Commissioners moved and seconded preliminary approval; both motions carried by voice vote.
Coyote Den Subdivision Phase 5, also in Precinct 3, received preliminary approval after a separate motion and second. No conditions or detailed engineering changes were recorded in the public discussion during the meeting.
The approvals are preliminary; final plats, infrastructure compliance and any required permits or road/access agreements will be addressed in subsequent filings and reviews by county staff.
