County commissioners approved a contract rider to extend the county’s elevator maintenance contract with KONE and approved a renewal for the county’s RightStuff timekeeping system.

County staff said the KONE contract is the original maintenance agreement with a prior rider adding 24/7 connectivity; the new rider (Rider No. 2) extends the contract term through July 31, 2030 and keeps the price fixed at the rate shown in the contract documents. Staff noted this action maintains existing monthly billing terms outlined in the contract packet.

The RightStuff timekeeping contract change will increase active users in the system from 370 to 405 employees. Staff recommended a three-year renewal option; commissioners approved the renewal by voice vote.

Both items were moved, seconded and passed. Staff said the RightStuff renewal includes options either for a one-year or three-year renewal but recommended the three-year option.
