Council tables personnel reclassifications until next meeting after members request more time

Councilman Friese reported the Personnel Committee had voted on most items by 3-0, with one item (the Clerk of Courts position) at 2-1. A motion to table consideration until the next council meeting (a date certain) carried 5-2. Council leadership said they would provide minutes and documentation from the Personnel Committee and encouraged council members to meet with department representatives before the next meeting.
The motion to table passed 5-2; the items were rescheduled for the July 9 council meeting and presenters and minutes will be made available to council prior to that date.
