Templeton — The Advisory Committee approved a $201 invoice for the Association of Town Finance Committees annual dues, with members citing the group’s handbook and webinars as useful references for the committee’s role in municipal finance.
Bev, a longtime advisory member, said the handbook “provides you with really good information” and that webinars and conferences can help newer committee members learn municipal financial roles and responsibilities. The committee also discussed an October 18 training and several members indicated interest in attending; a member offered to provide transportation.
Motion to pay the $201 invoice passed by voice/roll-call; the committee will consider attendees for upcoming training and confirm registration logistics.
