Grand County commissioners approved a one-year service agreement with Motorola Solutions on Tuesday to maintain the county's dispatch radio consoles.
Ashley McEwen, director of emergency communications within the sheriff's office, requested board signature on the agreement, explaining the contract would keep radio-consoles updated and ensure reliable operation. The sheriff's office told the board the term is one year at a cost of $32,286.08.
A commissioner moved to approve the Motorola support agreement and the motion carried by voice vote. The sheriff's office and emergency communications staff will execute the agreement and proceed with scheduled maintenance.
