The board approved the purchase of I-Ready mathematics for kindergarten through grade 5 and the Elevation platform for the 2025–26 school year (motion moved by Miss Hanson; seconded by Miss Gilhausen; vote 5-0). The board also held public hearings and then approved as advertised several policy and handbook items, including advertised modifications to the 2024–25 student progression plan; bylaws and agendas policy; policies governing parent organizations, booster clubs and outside support organizations; parent and family involvement in the school program; use of district facilities, grounds and equipment; wellness; transportation; and amendments to the 2025–26 student and family handbook and code of student conduct. Each of those items passed by 5-0 voice vote after the board opened and closed the respective public hearings, seeing no speakers at the podium.

In addition, the board approved a "global settlement agreement" listed on the agenda as between the School Board of Clay County, Blackwater Construction Services LLC and Gary Rogers Plumbing Company, Incorporated; the motion passed 5-0.

There were no public presentations on these agenda items. The board chair provided instructions for public comment at the start of the meeting, noting that speakers should fill out cards and would be allowed three minutes per item. Several routine consent and policy items were handled by separate motions and voice votes, each recorded as unanimous.
