Staff told council that, at the NCA meeting, the authority will levy a charge for improvements at the Meadow Ridge ravines; staff said the action will start NCA revenues flowing.
Council voted to suspend the rules to allow the appointments to move immediately; the suspension of rules and the resolution appointing the trustees both passed by unanimous roll call. Council did not record additional conditions or debate in the meeting minutes.
Staff said the NCA’s newly levied charge will permit the authority to collect revenues for the identified improvements; further details about the charge amount, collection mechanism and timeline will be determined by the NCA at its organizational meeting.
