John, a MidAmerican Energy representative, told the county board that crews have finished placing rock on F Avenue near the substation and that foundation work, including assembly of anchor bolt cages, is continuing in Page County.
“Today, we had crews finishing up placing some rock on F Avenue … near the substation,” John said. He added that turbine components might begin arriving “mid to late next week,” though the company had previously expected them earlier.
The update included an operational note about an incident the previous Friday. A board member asked whether Kelsey had contacted JD about that incident; John said he believed she had and offered to confirm. “If he feels like he didn’t get everything addressed the way he wants, then he can give either Kelsey or myself or or Ring. We’re happy to help,” John said.
No formal board action was taken on the update. The representative did not provide a precise arrival date or a shipment schedule; he described an earliest likely window of mid to late next week and said the date could slip into the following week.
The board did not request additional motions or votes during the update and did not record any action items beyond the offer to follow up on the Friday incident.
The remarks came during a regular meeting; the board accepted the operational update and moved on to other agenda items.
