TALLAHASSEE — The Tallahassee City Commission heard more than two dozen residents May 14 oppose proposed changes to the city's future land-use and mobility elements, prompting the mayor to delay formal transmittal discussion until the next commission meeting.
The hearing drew speakers from multiple in-town neighborhoods including Los Robles, Frenchtown, Lafayette Park, Old Town and Benton Hills, whose residents said they had not had time to review the full proposed map and policies and feared increased density and commercial uses in established single-family neighborhoods.
