County financial staff said they were told the tenant, Mister Rudd, had terminated his contract effective August 8 and therefore removed the full-month lease payment from the payables list; staff said the tenant or the county will reconcile prorated amounts with the vendor. The revised total the clerk presented was about $180,009.94.
Commissioners briefly discussed repairs to court facilities and annex stucco work; the meeting record includes verbal appreciation for the repair work. A motion to approve accounts payable with the correction to remove the prorated amount was made, seconded and carried on the record.
The court adjourned after the vote.
