Amy Grunewald, director of DCAP (the regional allocation board) for Benton and Iowa counties, told the Board of Supervisors the county currently lacks a Benton County supervisor on the DCAP board following election changes. She said the county must have a supervisor on the DCAP board in order to receive DCAP-managed state funds for Benton County.

Grunewald said meetings are monthly and virtual, and she offered to provide details about how much Benton County might receive. The board directed Grunewald to contact County Auditor Hailey Rupple so the matter can be placed on a future agenda and a supervisor chosen.
