NORFOLK COUNTY, Mass. — The Norfolk County Commissioners approved the Norfolk County Retirement System agreement for retired sheriff's employees during their June 25 recess meeting.
The agreement was presented as the yearly approval required under the authority read into the record as “section 10, the chapters of sick of chapter 61 of the acts of 02/2009.” A commissioner asked whether there were any questions and then moved to approve the pay rate agreement for retired sheriff's employees. The motion was seconded and approved by the board.
A commissioner later asked in open session for permission to use the commissioners’ stamps to endorse the various votes taken that day; another commissioner confirmed the stamps had already been approved at the beginning of the meeting. The record shows the board authorized use of the stamps where appropriate.
No dollar amounts for the retirement agreement were read into the public record during the meeting and no further implementation steps were announced in open session.
