Staff provided a cost breakdown showing roughly $70,000 annual subscription costs plus a one-time launch/implementation fee around $17,000. The purchase was made under the State of Texas cooperative procurement arrangements (an approved cooperative contract), which staff said allows the city to use the pre-vetted vendor without a separate competitive bid. The council approved the contract 7-0 with approval subject to the city attorney finalizing acceptable contract language.
