The city said the Hancock Spring School was inspected and cleared to reopen and that some pool and park facilities remain impacted; crews have been making repairs to public infrastructure, and the city is finalizing bids for repairs. Council did not take an immediate emergency spending vote during the workshop; staff said they would continue coordinating with TDEM, TML and state agencies about funding eligibility for repairs and public assistance.
