Oklahoma County receives Harrah budgets and approves small street fund appropriation

Oklahoma County commissioners on July 30 received and filed City of Harrah budget documents for fiscal year 2025-26 and approved a small cash-fund appropriation for the city—s street and alley fund.
The board approved Resolution 2025-2956 to appropriate up to $15,702.02 to the City of Harrah—s street and alley fund. The clerk—s office presented the request as submitted by the county finance department.
Commissioners also moved to receive for filing the City of Harrah—s budget for fiscal year 2025-26 in the amount of $9,920,976 and the Harrah Public Works Authority budget for fiscal year 2025-26 in the amount of $6,399,000. During the reading, commissioners noted Harrah—s submissions were late, similar to several other municipal filings the clerk said the county receives periodically.
All items were approved by voice vote. The clerk—s office will file the budgets and the county will reflect the appropriation in its records. Commissioners did not raise substantive objections to the amounts during the session but asked staff to continue tracking late municipal submissions for future meetings.
