The Glendale Common Council authorized the city to execute an agreement with Aqualas for the 2025 sanitary sewer CCTV (closed-circuit television) and cleaning projects after receiving bids from three firms.
City staff presented Aqualas as the lowest bidder and recommended awarding the contract to that firm. Warwick said the highest bid received for the project was nearly $1 million; the staff recommendation was to award to the low bidder.
Alder Elhart moved to approve the agreement; Alder Schmelsling seconded. The motion passed by voice vote.
The contract will proceed under the city’s usual procurement and contract-execution processes; staff did not provide a detailed line-item bid amount in the public audio record beyond noting Aqualas was the low bidder and that three firms submitted responses. Further contract documents will specify the final contract sum and scope of work.
