Chair Friedson, presenting the Planning, Housing and Parks Committee recommendations, said the ZTA “updates the public benefit system” to align bonus density with current county priorities and to streamline and modernize benefit categories that were first established in 2010. Friedson said the committee sought to balance local community needs and countywide priorities and thanked planning staff and consultants for the work.
