She offered a formal invitation for county leadership to meet and problem-solve, and said the organization is on the county’s advisory board for animal care.
County staff responded that an agreement with the SPCA is already in place to coordinate services and suggested county leadership would follow up by phone if further discussion is needed. The county clarified that animal control falls under the sheriff for rabies control and that the county also employs an animal-control officer.
