Polk County approves emergency roof replacement for Dunbar Complex

The county received three written quotes: FW Oakland, RASUS Urethane, and Atlas Universal; commissioners recommended and approved a contract with Walton Incorporated. Commissioners also approved a motion that will require the auditor’s office to bring a budget amendment at the next meeting so funds can be drawn from the general fund to pay for the emergency work, with the expectation the county will reconcile the budget at year end.
