Hardin County Commissioners on July 28 tabled an item from Commissioner Cook presenting recommendations from the employee benefits committee to improve county personnel benefits.
The presiding official recommended tabling the item because Commissioner Cook and the Human Resources director were absent. The sheriff, who serves on the committee, was noted as present and available to speak, but the court opted to postpone detailed discussion until the special meeting on Wednesday, July 30, at 10 a.m.
Judge McDaniel moved to table the item and Commissioner Cooper seconded. The court approved the motion by voice vote.
No substantive changes to benefits or fiscal impacts were made at this meeting; the item will be considered at the July 30 special meeting when committee members and human resources staff can participate.
