County planners and a telecom vendor presented a site plan for a 200-foot Verizon monopole off Illinois Camp Road, and commissioners voted to approve the project after the Planning and Development Board recommended it.
Southwest Telecom representative Warren Harden presented the proposal and showed a site map indicating the planned access road from Illinois Camp Road. Harden said the tower application met county regulations for cell-site placement and construction, and that the Planning and Development Board had recommended approval.
Commissioners approved the proposal by voice vote; no conditions or variances were announced in the public discussion. County staff said the site plan and access routing were available for review in the planning packet.
