Commission appoints poll-official pool and approves early-voting sites for October special primary

The Davidson County Election Commission voted to appoint its active pool of poll officials for the Oct. 7 special primary election and approved the early-voting schedule and locations administrators proposed. Commissioners asked whether the early sites reflected those used previously in the district; Roberts confirmed sites from past cycles within the district are included, and that some nearby locations just outside the district were chosen to capture expected voter travel patterns. The motion to appoint poll officials as the active pool and to adopt the early-voting schedule passed by voice vote.
