Wright County Health & Human Services recognized Cecilia on Tuesday ahead of her retirement effective July 31 after nearly 30 years of county service. HHS Director and supervisors recounted Cecilia’s county career: she began May 20, 1996 as an Office Tech 2, worked on intake and resource teams, served as an information systems specialist for more than 15 years with BIS/technology, and later returned to public health where she was promoted to case aide in 2016. John, her supervisor in public health, praised her reliability, technical knowledge and willingness to assist coworkers, saying she “demonstrates these core values every day.” Colleagues presented remarks and a plaque; county leaders thanked Cecilia for her service and wished her well in retirement.
