LUTON, Iowa — The Board of Supervisors approved a quitclaim deed conveying certain street and alley right-of-way in the platted town of Luton to the adjoining property owners, Jeffrey L. and Rosemary A. Graber.
Planning and roads staff explained that the owners hold all surrounding parcels adjacent to the unused alleyway and the alley had never been used for vehicular access; the county proposed conveying the right-of-way by quitclaim deed to resolve the unused parcel ownership. The board moved and approved the deed on a 4-0 vote.
