The Panama City CRA on July 29 voted to align its meeting schedule with other city boards by moving the monthly business meeting (first Tuesday each month) to a 4:30 p.m. Central Time start beginning in September 2025 and to schedule an optional virtual workshop on the third Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m.

Staff said the change is intended to reduce confusion and better coordinate with city commission calendars. The virtual workshop recommendation would begin in August 2025 if the board chooses to use it; the board approved the staff recommendation 3‑0.

Board members approved the schedule change and the optional virtual monthly workshop to improve consistency for staff, elected officials and the public.
