Housing commission to review CMAP report and seek resolution before Aug. 31 deadline

At the July 21 meeting of the Davenport Housing Commission, staff said they will present the CMAP report to the commission ahead of the Aug. 18 meeting and will need a commission resolution to meet the Aug. 31 filing deadline.
Malia, housing authority staff, said she will provide commissioners with a copy of the CMAP report at least two weeks before the presentation and that she wants Bruce to review the report before submission. She said she will send a poll to confirm whether the commission will have a quorum on Aug. 18; if not, the presentation and resolution may be moved to a later date.
Commission member Matt noted that several commissioners (Tory, Yolanda and himself) were listed on the council agenda for reappointment later that week. Staff said the council had not yet voted on those reappointments at the time of the meeting.
No resolution was taken at the July 21 meeting; staff identified the Aug. 31 deadline and said they will return to the commission for formal approval.
