On reconvening from executive session at 12:11 p.m. on July 29, the Hunt County Commissioners Court considered an Exchange Building lease with the Greenville Board of Development (GBOD) for second-floor space.
County staff briefed the court on minor edits tied to capital expenditures from GBOD and recommended approving the lease with those considerations incorporated. A commissioner moved to approve the lease as modified and to give the judge final authority to sign the completed document; the motion included that the dollar amount originally presented to the court remain part of the lease. The court voted by voice; the judge announced the motion carried.
The ratified motion gave the judge authority to execute the final document once county staff and GBOD incorporated the agreed capital-expenditure terms.
