At the Finance Committee meeting, staff provided brief operational updates: Heather (staff member) gave a short update on the long-term care services fund, the accounts-payable presenter reported June disbursements, and a capital-projects presenter summarized ongoing projects.
Heather reported the long-term care services fund balance as of May 31 was $2,500,000 and said interest reported through May 2025 was $47,000. She also said the interest total between last year and this year is about $106,000. "Happy to answer any questions," Heather said; no substantive questions were recorded in the transcript.
The accounts-payable presenter reported that in June 2025 the county paid "just over $5,000,000 in disbursements" and said a detailed list was in the meeting packet for members to review. The capital-projects presenter said the county remains "very, very busy with all of the many ongoing capital projects" and that several projects have been completed while many others remain in progress; staff offered to answer specific questions about any listed project.
These reports were informational. Committee members did not take formal action on these items during the meeting.
