Johnson discussed several proposed adaptations to measures (for example, moving a special-education RDA indicator goal from a threshold of 1 to 2 to reflect calculation behavior) and said updated accountability data will be released by the commissioner in mid-August with public release to follow. Discussion versus decision: The item was presented for information and for the board to consider adjustments to targets; there was no formal board vote to change strategic-plan goals during the meeting. Staff noted they will bring finalized data and any recommended metric changes back to the board when state releases are complete.
