The Schenectady City Council held a public hearing on June 23, 2025, on an ordinance to amend Article 7 (Trucks), Section 248-85 of the Schenectady City Code to exclude trucks, tractors and tractor-trailer combinations over eight tons on Kings Road from Albany Street to the city line.
The clerk read the ordinance text into the record; the council received one written comment in favor from Tracy Collins. No members of the public signed up to speak at the hearing, and the clerk declared public comment closed.
Council members reminded speakers and attendees that public-hearing comments were limited to four minutes and must be confined to the hearing subject. The council did not record a final vote or further action on the ordinance during the June 23 meeting.
