A representative of the North Utica Neighborhood Association asked the council during public comment on July 2 to consider adding links to neighborhood association pages on the city’s website to improve outreach.

Bodan Rubarski said the association distributes meeting notices by newspaper, flyers and social media but still struggles to attract attendance. He asked whether the city could place a link to neighborhood association pages on the city home page’s news or community sections to improve visibility; he said the association already receives periodic notices from the mayor’s office and maintains a list of roughly 100 email addresses for outreach.

Council members asked staff to consider the request and to coordinate on whether the city site could host or link to association pages. The request was recorded for follow‑up.
