Barica said the septic-to-sewer program in the Golden Gate area has reached a 70% connection rate: "Out of 775 properties, 546 have been connected," she said. She reported that the El Camino construction is under way and that clearing, grubbing and initial swale excavation have been completed at the south end, with the contractor "on track" to finish on schedule.
