Commission finance committee to discuss opioid timeline and trustee annual report in August

Commissioner Steve Blake asked the commission to schedule the finance committee to meet Aug. 4 at 11:30 a.m. in the commission room and to add an opioid timeline item so the committee can begin work on it. “The finance committee will meet on August 4 at 11:30 here in the commission room. Laurie, if you will, I forgot to get with you earlier as an agenda item. Can you put opioid timeline so the finance committee can start working on that?” Blake said.
Blake also asked that the Aug. 11 work session include the annual report from the trustee. Those requests were made during the commissioners’ reports; the items were entered as committee agenda requests rather than votes or formal committee actions at this meeting.
Discussion: Commissioner Blake called for the finance committee to begin work on an opioid timeline and for the trustee’s annual report to be added to the August work session agenda. Direction: staff (Laurie, named in the meeting) was asked to add the opioid timeline to the finance committee agenda.
