Board hears director report: youth services hire set for Aug. 11; regional inspector recruitment underway

The director also reported the department is finishing year-end financials for several grants and has posted the regional inspector role; applications are under review and interviews will be scheduled for qualified candidates.
Board agent Tess Curran offered to have the new hire attend a future meeting for introduction. No formal board action was required; the items were informational and staffing decisions will be implemented by department leadership.
