This provides an avenue forward with conditionally used permits attached in some areas. In some areas, it'd be permitted depending on the size and scale,” a planning representative said.
Why this matters: the change establishes zoning standards for utility infrastructure such as pump stations, booster stations and telecommunications equipment where previously there was no clear permitting path. The amendment adds entries to Article 4.03 (permitted uses) and amends Article 4.05 (specific use standards) to support the new uses and clarifies accessory building rules.
