He said one parcel was owned by Lowe Farms and the other by Swinford Farms; easements were granted for farm access while enabling a 40‑foot corridor that will accommodate farm access and the trail alongside the railroad right of way.
Darn said the alliance plans to construct a trailhead parking area on the Burbank County side and hopes to install a bridge across Raccoon Creek. He said volunteers will work on parking and access improvements and that the alliance is coordinating with adjacent landowners and conservation easements.
