The City of Euclid Civil Service Commission on June 3 read a set of new job postings for multiple city departments, including positions in wastewater treatment, parks and recreation, finance and building and housing.
A city staff member read the postings aloud to the commission, listing vacancies including: plumber for wastewater treatment (public service); laborer and light equipment operator for the Department of Parks and Recreation; accounting clerk II for the Department of Finance; nuisance inspector for the Department of Building and Housing; and several other park laborer and equipment operator postings.
During the reading the staff member said, “We have a lot of these,” and the commission proceeded with routine business after the list was presented. No formal actions or votes were recorded related to the job postings during the meeting.
Residents interested in the positions should consult the City of Euclid’s official job-application channels for posting dates and application instructions.
