The St. Joseph County Redevelopment Commission on June 10 approved Resolution 2025-07 to appropriate reimbursements received from Amazon to date, totaling about $20,000,000, and to formalize figures discussed in the January budget presentation that had been omitted from the earlier resolution.
Commission staff said the resolution “appropriates the reimbursements we've received from Amazon to date, totaling about $20,000,000,” and noted it also cleans up figures from the January budget presentation that were previously omitted. Staff offered to answer questions and said a fuller report will be provided next month.
Commissioners moved and seconded approval. Commissioners Treuerwald, Volker, Fox and Jordan recorded affirmative votes and the motion carried. No questions were raised during the meeting record prior to the vote.
The resolution will be reflected in next month’s financial reporting and staff said they will provide a fuller midyear report when settlement activity is completed.
The commission did not discuss amendments to the appropriation during the vote; staff signaled additional detail will follow in a future presentation.
