Facilities workshop covered Meadowview secure entry and Southside bus-drop reroute ahead of school start

District staff summarized a recent facilities workshop that reviewed Meadowview’s secure-entry project, high school work and early learning center considerations. Staff thanked the district’s partners from Building Solutions—named in the meeting as Bray, Mark and Johnson—and said the full workshop slides had been shared. On the Southside bus drop-off and pickup project, staff reported they discovered a water line and are rerouting a gas line to avoid placing it beneath the parking lot; staff said the reroute should finish soon and that they remain on schedule to open the school year with the new bus drop-off and pickup area. "We start out we still are on time to start school with a new bus drop off and pick up area at Southside... things are progressing very nicely," a staff member said.
