Commissioners emphasized outreach and inclusion, saying they want both regular meeting public speakers and residents who do not normally attend meetings to have accessible opportunities to comment. Staff said the Together Chaffee County email list and county website would be used for outreach and that property owners will also receive notice through the county tax mailing process.
A motion to accept the proposed schedule passed by unanimous voice vote. Planning staff will issue a press release to open the comment period and deliver a draft glitch bill for work‑session review after the public comment window closes.
