To avoid a potential court process, staff recommended deeding the strip to the buyers. The city said maintenance responsibilities would transfer to the private owners after the deed is signed.
Vice Mayor Landry made the motion to approve the quitclaim deed to Joshua and Fiona Knutson; Commissioner Vasquez seconded. The commission voted 5-0 to approve the deed. No public comments were recorded on the item.
