Board continues 10 code‑enforcement cases to Sept. 26 after partial compliance

Code enforcement staff told the Board of Works that half of the properties listed in the report have made progress since the prior meeting but five have made no progress. Staff said they will begin daily fines for the nonresponsive properties and recommended continuing all ten cases to the Sept. 26 meeting. "I can tell you that half of them have been making progress since the last meeting, but 5 of them have made no progress. And so, I will start finding them daily today," a code enforcement officer said. The Board of Works voted to continue the matters to the September 26 meeting by voice vote.
