The Village Board authorized the village president to sign an amendment updating the solid waste handling and recycling agreement to reflect the contractor's current name and ownership structure.

Staff explained the existing contract dated Nov. 12, 2021, had been executed with LRS (later doing business as Badgerland Disposal) and the current operator is GFL (and associated entities). The amendment in the meeting packet changes the contracting party name so services continue under the current corporate owner through Dec. 31, 2026, with no other term or pricing changes noted in the packet.

Trustees voted unanimously to authorize the village president to sign the revised agreement.

No service changes, rate changes or additional board action were discussed at the meeting.
