Petitioner Alison Barr (recorded as Lisonbee Barr in the agenda) appeared and described the request as intended to accommodate clients whose travel plans overlap and to reduce multiple turnovers when flights are delayed.
Councilors said staff — including animal control and police — provided generally positive recommendations. Councilor Mary noted no calls for service in the last three years, and other council members who had driven by the site said they observed no traffic or parking impacts. The council recorded a motion to approve the increase, moved by Tony and seconded by Aaron; the motion passed by voice vote.
The council said it would review license performance in six months and asked that animal control continue monitoring operational impacts. No enforcement action was requested at this time.
