The presentation said the project plan includes six increment districts (labeled A through F) and establishes the Tulsa Authority for Economic Opportunity along with the city to carry out and administer the plan. Materials and findings were posted on the city website, and public hearings were scheduled for July 30 and Aug. 27.
Dickerson said project scoping has been ongoing, that developers have been engaged and that neighborhood interactions have been constructive so far. Staff noted a previously identified typo in the budget had been corrected and that the local development act review committee process had been resolved, clearing the way for public hearings. A councilor commented there were no outstanding issues and that the presentation was “painless.”
No vote or final adoption occurred at the meeting; the item advanced to the public‑hearing scheduling stage and will return for public comment and further council consideration on the posted dates.
