The Board of Supervisors approved changes to subdivision and variance review fees on July 22, following a recommendation from the planning commission.
Under the new fee schedule, the subdivision review fee for four lots or fewer is $100. Major subdivisions (more than four lots) will be charged a base $250 fee plus $25 per lot. Variance requests will be charged $250 plus the cost of required advertising. Staff said the fees had not been revised in a long time and the planning commission recommended the update.
The board approved the fee changes without setting a separate public hearing. The action will adjust planning and permitting costs accordingly; staff said details are available in the board packet.
