The parks board approved a permit Feb. 18 for a Spring Artisan Market on March 22 at McNaughton Pavilion, replacing prior "fabulous" pop‑up names. Staff said about 25 vendors were approved at the time of the meeting and that organizers plan to host Heart City Coffee food truck outside.
Staff explained vendor options are either a 6‑foot table ($12.50) or a full 12‑foot table ($25). The event is intended for makers and artisans rather than farm vendors; staff said this is more of an indoor maker market. The event will be rain or shine.
The board approved the permit after staff circulated a hard copy of the application at the meeting; members emphasized treating new applicants consistently with past permitting practice. No budget or admission fees beyond vendor table fees were proposed.
