A Monongalia County resident announced a public information meeting on the Mid-Atlantic Transmission Line proposal and invited commissioners to attend.
Juliet Marlier, a Morgantown resident, told the commission she and others are organizing a Mon County informational session on Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. at University High School and asked commissioners to attend. Marlier said the session is intended to reach potentially affected residents who she said are not yet aware of the proposed transmission-line project; she thanked the commission for permitting NextEra representatives to attend a recent working session.
The announcement was made during the public comment period; commissioners did not take formal action on the item during the meeting.
